Growing Our Family-11, 12, 13...
Weekly Update:
Family Plans
We have some amazing news: our family is growing! I am expecting another sweet baby (or maybe multiples!) in January 2025. Given that I have carried three twin pregnancies, we are extremely excited to find out how many we are having this time. Our first ultrasound is on May 30th, and we will be happy to announce the results after we inform family and friends.
Many people have asked to know more about our multiple pregnancies, so I thought I would give you a quick review! Our first set of multiples came in 2015. We already had three perfect boys, so a set of fraternal twin girls was an exciting adventure! Just 12 months later, we found out that we were expecting again. This time, it was another set of fraternal twins, boys—born in 2017. The pregnancy following that one seemed like it must be twins as the previous two had been, but instead, we had a surprise singleton boy in 2018!
On December 18, 2019, we found out on National Twin Day that we were expecting our third set of twins! Unfortunately, in March 2020, we were told that I lost one twin. We went on to have one perfect girl. Another singleton arrived in 2023, a sweet boy, and now we will soon find out if this will be another set of multiples or just one perfect baby. I had a dream the other day that it was TRIPLETS! Whatever we are having, I feel so blessed to be carrying this pregnancy and blessed to mother any future children God blesses us with!

The Good Stuff:
Let me point you to a band I have been listening to for 15 years or so: ApologetiX .
ApologetiX is a christian parody band who has made such amazing and witty music since the 90’s targeting all kinds of genres.
They parodied a song by The Beetles called “Hey Jude”. The parody is named “Take Jude,” and in this song they re-cap a bit about the book of Jude, and remind listeners at the end to “get it out noooooww, read it out louuuuud…..read Jude”.
ANY-way, because this song comes to mind randomly, I often feel the urgency to go read the book of Jude. It is only 25 verses long, and Jude out pours his urgency to contend for the faith, but I want to jump to verse 20:
”But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.”
If you are reading this today, I am praying for your eternal resilience against the sins and fear that want to separate us from Christ. Joy and peace is yours. It can not be stolen. If you think about it this week, read Jude!
